Principles of Visual Perception in Stock Footage

Laura Pérez Maquedano studied Film and Creative Writing at Wesleyan University and loves directing, production design and editing. She is particularly interested in fantasy films, in-camera special effects, mythology, and intercultural narratives. Laura has a theater background, as well as writing and illustrating children’s books. She published “The Lost Turtle” in 2013 and “The Poor Cactus” in 2015. Laura is the visionary videographer and editor of the Digital Intro Initiative, and eager to keep telling stories through film.
